2013-14 NBA Preseason Picks

2013-14 NBA Preseason Picks Yes, I'm an NBA fan. What better way to enjoy my favorite sport by watching the best athletes to play the game than watch the National Basketball Association. Yes, I know... The college game is more of a pure team sport but the athleticism lies in the NBA. Even more so, I partake in NBA Fantasy League... 2 teams this year, by the way. In the past 10 years I've won my league championship three times but not since 2008. This year, 2013, I've entered two leagues with the same name I've had since enjoying the fantasy "sport"... the New Mexico Anarchy, 2013-14 edition.

Here are my preseason picks for the 2013-14 NBA Season:
 NBA Champion: Miami Heat
Runner-up: San Antonio Spurs
MVP: LeBron James (Miami)
Coach: Eric Spoelstra (Miami)
Rookie: Victor Oladipo (Orlando)

 Western Conference Results

1)San Antonio Spurs
2)Houston Rockets
3)Oklahoma Thunder
4)Golden State Warriors
5)Los Angeles Clippers
6)Portland Trailblazers
7)Memphis Grizzlies
8)Denver Nuggets

 Eastern Conference Results

 1)Miami Heat
2)Indiana Pacers
3)Chicago Bulls
4)Brooklyn Nets
5)New York Knicks
6)Detroit Pistons
7)Washington Wizards
8)Atlanta Hawks

Hopefully, my Utah Jazz will make the playoffs, but highly unlikely. We're rebuilding and have decided to actively "TANK"...

...wait til next year...

Despite losing 3 games this year, all was not lost for University of Utah football 2010. Yes, it wasn't what all wanted but it was a winning season. Great job, Kyle, coaches, and the rest of the Ute team. Time to get ready for the PAC-12, as they welcome our beloved Utes. I do believe we belong...

As for me, it's been a trying year. Life's ups and downs are challenging me. Sometimes you just want to throw in the towel, yet, as I am faced with adversity, it is a test. A test of my inner strength. I know I will persevere against all my hardships. I hope in making my mistakes and facing them I don't hurt the ones close to me.

I wish everyone who reads these words the utmost good times. Live long and prosper.
